Traditonal Thai massage (nuat phaen thai) is an ancient healing system using acupressure, assisted yoga postures and Ayurvedic ideas from India. It’s long history began in the time of the Buddha with the teachings of Ayurvedic doctor, Jivaka Kumar Bhacca. The body is manipulated to increase the flow of air (lom) through the numerous pathways (sen) of the body. This promotes relaxation, eases tension, relaxes aching muscles, reduces pain and improves blood circulation.
